..... Working with Isabella resource center in upper Manhattan on my Saturday mornings before work has been quite theraputic for myself and those involved. I am teaching a series of art and photography classes, helping them to understand light and crafting. For these first few sessions, I listened to them express what they would like to paint and draw out a sketch for them to fill in color. They have progresses quite rapidly. I am happy... These are meant to be simple abstract excersizes.

This particular scene reminded the artist of her recent trip to Hawaii where she remembers a bus stop near the beach. I also painted a similar one to stay in synch with her that day.
